Shunta’ Taylor is a Network Engineer at NASA and Autism Advocate passionate about changing the life station of persons with neurodiversities. This passion was sparked by the autism journey of her young nephew Jaden and the challenges, stereotypes, snd stigmas associated with the diagnosis.
Shunta has worked in the information technology field for almost twenty years and knew in her heart that this field could help to change the narrative around the autism diagnosis.
She made the commitment to create the Divine Network Solutions Neurodiversity apprenticeship Program as a means to provide access to education, employment, and training to persons on the autism spectrum.
This program has one finite goal, to assist persons with neurodiversities fully utilize their strengths and achieve personal and financial independence. She recruited a team of passionate professionals who are at the top of their fields to serve as programdirectors and advisors.
Shunta earned her Bachelors in Information Systems Security from ITT Technical College in 2005. She began her information technology career with Honda Manufacturing of Alabama where she served for 10 years. She later served as a Sr. Network Engineer, with a major Alabama law firm, prior to accepting her present position with NASA.
