Kenzie R. Gray is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist, with 14 years of professional experience, and the owner of Tongue Twister SLP, PLLC. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology, in 2005, and her Master of Education in Communication Disorders, in 2007, from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Kenzie currently holds and maintains the Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is professionally licensed to practice in the states of Texas and Louisiana. Ms. Gray is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
She is also a Sequential-Oral Sensory (SOS) certified provider in the state of Texas and is a recipient of the 2018 Award for Continuing Education (ACE). Ms. Gray has served many individuals with a variety of communication disorders including, but not limited to, articulation, language, fluency, voice, swallowing, and feeding. She has numerous years of experience servicing the pediatric and adult populations.
Kenzie has several years of experience serving those who have been diagnosed with Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Hearing Loss, and Speech-Language Delay/Disorder, to name a few. She has worked in various settings such as assisted living facilities, home health, outpatient facilities, private practice, and public schools.
Kenzie currently has a special interest in servicing and advocating for the neurodivergent population and assisting our communities in understanding the acceptance of these citizens. Ms. Gray has created a mobile application to provide resources and education to those who are unfamiliar with recognizing and comprehending what speech and language disorders or differences look like.
Kenzie has a passion to empower and instruct those with communication disorders on the necessary skills to clearly relay wants, needs, and preferences in various environments.
